Pomeranian Club of MI Rescue

Teddy Pom Pom was an owner surrender at 13 years old. He was kept outside his entire life. He was spotted by a rescue angel and she got him fixed, up to date on shots and more vet care. She also got them to bring him inside but when she went to visit he was locked in the laundry room. She contacted us to see if we would take him, then talked the owners into surrendering him. Teddy was placed in a home with an older woman but after about 6 months she fell and fractured her back. He came back to rescue while she was undergoing therapy. The day before she was to get him back she fell and fractured her back again. She was no longer capable of taking care of Teddy so he stayed with Barb. He was so spoiled from eating people food that it took over two weeks to get him back on dog food. He was 14 years old by then and Barb decided he would live out his life with her.... He is now 17.5 years old and has done all the things he never got to do. He has been to big dog shows, gone camping and his favorite thing - gold cart rides!!!
